Certainly movie lobbies have become saturated with so much over thought out nonsense. Banners that drape from the ceiling, 12 foot high cardboard stand-ups, lenticular screens that peer directly into your soul before laughing. Pretty soon there will be lobby displays that covertly pinch your wallet and liberate an extra $7.50 from you. You know, a “marketing” fee.  Have fun paying for some assholes heroin addiction.
