The RotCast Episode #203 - All Guardians Must Die

Summer is effectively over, movie wise that is. Sure there will still be movies dumped into the dog days but tentpoles are done. This summer was awesome for tentpoles as evidenced by how Summer 2014 was capped off. Also on this episode we talk a smaller Lucky Mckee film you might have caught on VOD, especially if you are a high school cheerleader.

    • Guardians of the Galaxy (Spoilers)
    • All Cheerleaders Die

    What We Watched
Dave: The Purge: Anarchy, Lucy, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Non-Stop, New in Town
James: Rewind This (Doc), The Counselor, More than A Game (Doc), Afflicted

  2. The RotCast Episode #193 - Now You See Darkness

We finally got into a screener of Now You See Me only to find our efforts were not really worth the time investment. Using the IMAX passes we scored from getting shut out of Hansel and Gretel back in January, we saw Star Trek Into Darkness in IMAX 3D. Since neither James nor myself are in our 40’s, we liked the film! Go to bed, old men!

A vast wasteland is all ye’ will find in this intro.

  5. Big Trouble In Little China: Keep Kurt Russell In The Dark

I loved me some Big Trouble when I was growing up, partly because it was bad-ass from top to bottom but mainly because Jack Burton proved you can be awesome and bumbling simultaneously.

    Happy New Year!
