Iron Man 2: Augmented Reality Experience - A great IM2 promotional website, requires a webcam and an open-mind. Truly unique, a rarity these days.

Paramount to Make The Ring 3D - I wouldn’t pay normal admission price to see another Ring film, much less a 3D premium.

Star Wars -vs- Rush Hour - I’m ashamed that this made me laugh, but it did.

Watching R-Rated Films Linked to Early Alcohol Use - Riiiiiight…

  6. 26 Awesome Alt Stormtrooper T-Shirts

Let’s be honest, the majority of the official Star Wars apparel offerings out in the wild BLOW, quite frankly (with one exception). Luckily this is the Internet age, and copyright be darned, talented designers worldwide have taken it upon themselves to represent the most awesome of make-believe sci-fi military guards in the way they deserve: WITH STYLE. The collection below represents the best of the best in unauthorized Stormtrooper t-shirts. Enjoy!

Colors, shirt style, and availability may vary.

  7. Not For Sale Vader T-Shirt of the Moment - Designers Albert Covarrubias and Roborockk, who created the above cross-media apparel masterpiece starring Vader and a multitude of Space Invaders, are looking for a printer with some anti-copyright balls. Let’s hope they find one.

Quentin Tarantino, Spellchecked - Is this why QT can’t play Brainy Smurf? NYMag spell checks his aptly named Inglourious Basterds script, finds many errors, acts like anyone should care.

Star Wars Sound Effects Quiz - I scored 70%, can you beat me?

Trailer: Cemetery Junction - Written and directed by both Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, and without the distracting high-concept that dragged The Invention of Lying into the dirt, this is one to watch for.

Tremorz - A Flash game based on the movie Tremors. Still unplayable on the iPhone and iPad.

Tina Fey And Steve Carell Interview Each Other - Probably more entertaining than Date Night, the movie they are promoting.

Researchers Say Twitter Algorithm Can Predict Movie Profits - They claim 97.3% accuracy, kicking the pants off of traditional survey-based “tracking” reports. File this one under: No Shite, Sherlock.

  9. Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones Review - Mike from Red Letter Media (the now-legendary YouTuber who eviscerated The Phantom Menace a few months back) is back, this time taking on Attack of the Clones, aka Lucas’ attempt at an apology film. I personally haven’t watched it yet, as it requires a carving of out of a full 90 minutes of pure fanboy-induced dedication to get through - but it comes highly recommended.

Check out the first of a total of 9 comprising the review above, see below for direct links to the whole shebang.

  10. Kraftwerk Re-imagined - A pop-bot spin on the classic 1978 cover of “The Man-Machine”. This is relevant to my interests x5.

  12. Galactic Empire State of Mind - It’s hard to imagine there was once a time when CollegeHumor was just a site to look at funny pictures of drunk idiots. Good on’ em for this Star Wars inspired Jay-Z music video reimagining, well done.

Steve Pink Talks Gross Pointe Blank 2 and Fear & Loathing Remake - From Hot Tub Time Machine to two unnecessary cash-grabs? Make ‘em 3D, Mr. Pink, and I’m in.

Haim on Haim - Me, Myself, and I - A haunting vid of a young Corey Haim, seemingly under the influence of something, discussing his future in the entertainment industry. Sad. [via]

A 3D Theory: Hollywood is Frightened - An interesting rant on the state of theater-going amongst the 2nd-coming of 3D gimmickry.

Tron Legacy Set Interview: Jeff Bridges - An interesting read, Jeff seems to be just along for the ride in this movie, as he is in life in general.
